Welcome to the School of Pharmacy at UQ
The School of Pharmacy at the University of Queensland is the longest established School of Pharmacy in Queensland, having been established at the St Lucia campus in 1960. Students enjoy the benefits of:

The undergraduate qualification is the Bachelor of Pharmacy degree (an Honours program can also be studied). The School also has a number of awards in Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy. The School's staff are actively engaged in research, with interests in all major areas of pharmacy and the pharmaceutical sciences.
Study Options
- Undergraduate Study (Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree)
The Bachelor of Pharmacy is the School's undergraduate program, which runs over 4 years, full time.
An additional 48 week paid internship in either community or hospital pharmacy follows graduation.
- Postgraduate Research
This page is focused towards Postgraduate Research work, or Research Higher Degrees. This includes Doctor of Philosophy, Masters of Philosophy and Postgraduate Honours.
- Postgraduate Coursework
For those wishing to undertake Postgraduate Clinical Pharmacy by Coursework, such as the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy, Graduate Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy, Master of Clinical Pharmacy or Doctor of Clinical Pharmacy.
- Pharmacy Re-entry Program
The School of Pharmacy offers a twice-yearly program designed for registered pharmacists who are wishing to re-enter the industry or refresh their knowledge & skills.
